I am an Australian abstract landscape painter. A trip to Central Australia in the 90s first moved me to attempt to capture some essence of the awe I felt for that ancient landscape.

Over the decades that followed, traveling extensively in wild places I have been increasingly drawn to the dualities of fragility and enduring,and of complexity within simplicity.

I paint in response to the ancient and rugged places that I Iove. Interpreting into visual form grounded through memory and emotion.
